High-precision PTFE bushes, cylinders & tubes – manufactured & exported by National Fluoromers
Available in molded, machined, envelope, and composite variants, our PTFE bushings are manufactured to meet the diverse needs of industries such as chemical processing, power generation, automotive, and pharmaceutical.
PTFE bushes (also known as sleeves or tubes) are cylindrical hollow components made from polytetrafluoroethylene resin. Known for their chemical inertness, low coefficient of friction, and thermal stability, these bushings are ideal for use in dynamic and static applications where standard materials fail.
We offer a wide range of PTFE bush types including molded, envelope, machined, and composite bushes, each designed for a specific functional advantage.
These are compression-molded hollow cylinders with uniform wall thickness and high strength. Molded PTFE bushes are excellent for static or low-dynamic applications where dimensional stability and corrosion resistance are key.
Applications: Shaft liners, Valve guides, Sleeves for chemical processing equipment
Available sizes: OD: Up to 600 mm, ID and length as per requirement
Also known as lined or jacketed bushes, these components feature a PTFE outer sleeve (envelope) over a metal, elastomer, or composite core. They offer the chemical resistance of PTFE with the mechanical strength of the core material.
Applications: Flange insulation kits, Anti-corrosive pipeline systems, Electrical isolation in high-voltage systems
Benefits: Dual-material performance, Custom designs for complex installations
Custom-manufactured on CNC lathes and milling machines, these bushes are machined from PTFE rods, blocks, or molded blanks. They allow for tight tolerances and are suited for high-precision motion and sealing applications.
Applications: Rotary shaft seals, Spindle bushings, Customized insulators and isolators
Advantages: Superior surface finish, Accurate inner and outer diameters
These are reinforced with fillers such as glass, carbon, or bronze to improve load-bearing, dimensional stability, and wear resistance. Composite PTFE bushes are ideal for high-load, high-speed, or high-temperature operations.
Applications: Hydraulic cylinders, Automotive suspensions, Heavy-duty valves and actuators
