Copper Filled PTFE and Nickel Filled PTFE are composites made by blending virgin PTFE resin with controlled percentages of either copper or nickel powders. These metals enhance the base material's thermal conductivity, EMI/RFI shielding capacity, and dimensional control, while still offering the non-stick, low-friction, and corrosion-resistant properties of PTFE.
Nickel-filled PTFE is often preferred in high-purity or aggressive environments where copper may not be suitable.
