what is a chemically processed PTFE sheet?

PTFEis inherently non-stick, making it difficult to bond using conventional adhesives. Chemically processed PTFE sheets are surface-treated using a controlled chemical etching process that modifies one or both sides of the sheet. This process roughens the surface at a molecular level, creating a darkened, activated layer that bonds effectively to other materials.
